Expedited Brazil Visa Services (2024)

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

*As of June 17, 2019, citizens of the United States of America, Australia, Canada and Japan are able to travel to Brazil without a visa. This measure benefits holders of a valid passport traveling for tourism, business, artistic or sports activities. The initiative also covers travelers transiting through Brazil. Visitors will be granted a stay of up to 90 days, which can be extended once for the same period, as long as they do not exceed 180 days within a 12-month period, counted from the date of the first entry.

Not all passport holders need a visa to travel to Brazil. Here is a list of countries that are exempt for tourist and/or business visas. “Yes” indicates that you DO need a visa. If the country you hold a passport for is not listed below, then you may need a tourist or business visa. Consulate requirements can change quite quickly, so please be sure to check your localBrazil Consulateto verify that you do not need a visa. Some countries will have their visa issued on a Laissez-Passer. A “laissez-passer” is a travel document that the Consulate issues to those citizens of countries not recognized by the Brazilian Government.
