The Joel Stern Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Pipeline Scholarship seeks to provide financial support to students who contribute to the diversity of the law school student body as they pursue their legal career.We ask your assistance with disseminating the attached application and criteria to students who will be entering their second or third year of law school in the fall of 2022.
NAMWOLF will provide three (3) scholarships in the amount of $10,000 each for the 2022-2023 law school year. The application deadline is June 20, 2022. The Joel Stern Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Pipeline Scholarship is open to 2022–2023 second- and third year law students who attend historically black college and universities (HBCUs) school of law program or Illinois/Iowa law students who attend an ABA accredited law school program. The U.S. Court of Federal Claims Bar Association will award at least one annual law student scholarship of up to $5,000.00, in honor of the Court’s former Chief Deputy Clerk of Administrative Services, Carole Bailey.
Who may apply?
Any student who is:

ABA Legal Opportunity Scholarship Fund
The American Bar Association (ABA) awards an annual Legal Opportunity Scholarship to first-year law students. The mission of the program is to encourage racial and ethnic minority students to apply to law school and to provide financial assistance to attend and completing law school. The ABA Legal Opportunity Scholarship grants 10 - 20 incoming diverse law students with $15,000 of financial aid over their three years in law school. Since its inception, more than 350 students from across the country have received the ABA Legal Opportunity Scholarship.
