In the episode of Naruto Shippuden where we finally see Kakashi's face (ep 469), both of his eyes look regular.

However, fans were pleasantly surprised last week when a filler episode aired for Naruto Shippuden that brought the mystery to an end! WARNING: SPOILER COUNTRY AHEAD! Episode 469 (that's right: 368 episodes between the first mention of it and the actual reveal!) shows Naruto ever curious about seeing Kakashi's face.

Summary. Fans finally get a glimpse of Kakashi without his mask, revealing a small mole on his chin. The reveal of Kakashi's face was seen as an anti-climax, but added intrigue to the long-running anime. The reason for waiting so long to show Kakashi's face was to maintain the mystery and not detract from the plot.

Episode 101: In this episode based on a special omake, Naruto convinces Sasuke and Sakura Haruno to help him see what Kakashi's face looks like under his mask. Each one of their plans, such as buying him ramen to force him to remove his mask while he eats, fails in a comedic fashion.

Synopsis. Team 7 (without Kakashi) is given a mission to protect a young man, Idate, during his foot race against a rival clan that will settle the feud between the two. They are known as the Wasabi family and the Wagarashi family. Idate, however, has a strong distaste for ninja, and always ends up arguing with Naruto.

In an interview, series creator Kishimoto Masashi said that he initially designed Hatake Kakashi wearing a face mask because it felt consistent with the secrecy and mysteriousness inherent in being an accomplished shinobi. Further, Kishimoto had hoped to introduce more masked characters.

The only ones that ever saw Kakashi's face was in the filler episode in Naruto season 3 episode 18, 'Gotta See! Gotta Know! Kakashi Sensei's True Face'. It was Teuchi and Ayame.
