There’s a Multi-Level-Marketing company that sells advanced, Hollywood worthy technology to anyone who can afford it. The company is called LifeWave and was set-up by Dr. David Schmidt whose business history encompasses 30 years.

This article will try to find out if LiveWave and some of its products and business practices constitute a scam. I will try my best to analyze the various information that we can gather from as many sources as possible.

The company and its owners and officers have made some pretty outlandish claims for their products. The business actually concentrates on health and wellness. The products we are going to talk about in detail are some sort of patches loaded with proprietary technology.

Many people who are trying to recruit you tend to advertise a glamorous life full of flexibility, passive income, fire your own boss and be your own boss. What they don’t say is that the chances of making a six-figure salary or even a full-time income at all are extremely low.

As you can see, I wouldn't recommend network marketing/MLM because it's a lot harder to get the results you want and achieve success as compared to affiliate marketing.

Let me give you a quick comparison between MLM & affiliate marketing:

LifeWave is real; the company is bold enough to submit its products to clinical tests even though there are still questions. The mere fact that they do not fear validation makes its legitimacy a bit more believable.

The issue with the founders’ academic record is simply not that big an issue anymore. Since the product and the company that is built around it is a success. His credentials or lack thereof is eclipsed by his decades of successful business ventures and government contracts.

The products of LifeWave are accepted and been acclaimed to work by thousands of people from all walks of life. The testimonies sources include notable personalities and even official organizations that attest to its efficacy in improving one’s health and well-being.

Some may question the adoption of MLM is illegal. Hundreds of legitimate companies used MLM as their business model. And though, it is very taxing to a lot of people who are not accustomed to networking and convincing people. Their immediate community needs to invest and recruit more people to produce resources to sustain an income.

The cost of the product is prohibitive at $3 dollars per piece with the smallest package sold at $90 per 30 patches. The membership fee of $25 for the starter kits is something to ponder about but there is nothing illegal about their pricing.

All in all, LifeWave is, in fact, legitimate business with a business model being used by a lot of other companies. It utilizes the pyramiding recruitment style of marketing but by all means.

The company is selling a useful and effective product for health and wellness. But still, is not enough for members. If that is the case, I would rather go for Affiliate Marketing.
