A ProgramoftheThomasJ. Watson Foundation

The Jeannette K. Watson Fellowship is a three year program that provides funded summer internship and unprecedented opportunites to promising undergraduate students from 12 New York City partner colleges. As a Watson Fellow, you are provided with annual funding of $5,000, $6,000 and $7,000, in addition $2,000 Discovery Fund to develop your personal, professional, and cultural potential.

Department of Music: The Sweet Basil Jazz Club Scholarship

The Sweet Basil Jazz Cluub Scholarship will be awarded in its entirety ($10,000) to one student for the 2022-2023 academic year. This scholarship supports all education-related expenses, including, but not limited to tuition, fees, books & materials, and personal expenses for the student while attending the City College of New York. If the selected student is over-subscribed on financial aid, any remaining balance may be given to the student as a stipend to cover any additional, unmet, related education expense. The Sweet Basil Jazz Club Scholarship is for an undergraduate student applying to major in Jazz Studies - performance, composition, etc.
